Acting Classes (18+)
You could be exploring all sorts of acting methods, and there are plenty of choices out there, but are they working for you? It is my belief that every actor needs a specific set of exercises that will push them to achieve the best results they can. This class is made for both beginners and experienced actors, as the approach is tailor-cut and everyone is getting the experience they need. The exercises used will be beneficial for all levels of acting proficiency.
I start with the base of all theatrical explorations- Stanislavski. His vocabulary is simple and precise, his methods are exact and effective. On top of that, I often use exercises developed by Meisner, Hagen, Adler and Strasberg. Movement and voice work is a part of all my classes- if we do not take care of our body, our instrument, our results will be limited. During the 10-week session you will work on at least one theatre scene and more TV/Film scenes. The accent will be on TV/film acting, as it is the more common commercial request in our industry. All the work will be tailor-cut and adapted to better suit each performer. We are all INDIVIDUALS and during the course of working with me, you will unveil your individuality and authenticity. From expanding the acting range to experimenting with styles and techniques, the true goal is to tap into the performer’s originality and to connect with their source.

The fall session starts on Thursday, September 25th and ends on November 27th. 10 classes, from 7-9pm (or 10 pm if the group is larger). The classes are for 18+. Maximum 10 students.

Drama Classes for Children (in Serbian Language)
UNFORTUNATELLY, DUE TO SCHEDULING CONFLICTS, WE WERE NOT ABLE TO SECURE THE SPACE FOR THE CLASSES, SO WE WILL HAVE TO CANCEL THE FALL SESSION OF THE DRAMA STUDIO FOR CHILDREN IN SERBIAN LANGUAGE. THE STUDIO WILL INSTEAD HAVE A SPRING SESSION THAT WILL START AT THE END OF JANUARY. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!
Theatre training for children ages 9-14. Learning our language through games and performances. Practicing communication and social skills while gaining confidence and the sense of authenticity. Drama is a crucial tool in the development of our children, teaching them empathy, being brave and being present to take the world in.
Classes are being held on Fridays from 7-9pm, at Windermere Church (356 Windermere Ave.). Maximum 15 students.
Price: $500 ($442.58 + HST). 20% discount for the second child.
Public Speaking Classes
In today’s work climate, it is impossible to avoid public speaking. Every person needs the skills that will help them make an impression. From empowering your voice, through breathing techniques, analysis and practice, you will gain confidence to talk to whomever, whenever, about whatever. During the 10-week session you will experiment with various types of speeches, different in their style and objectives. You will practice a plethora of drama games and exercises, all geared towards expanding the range of your theatricality and expressiveness. From relaxation techniques to non-verbal communication, you will learn everything you need to know about socialization. You will find out what communication means to you and how do you want to use it. Discover your true potential and impress your audience!
